Let's dive in and get your service page to create a flood of ready-to-work-with-you clients!

Sooo… what is a service page and WHY do I need one?

Alright, let's break it down. What's the deal with service pages, you ask? Well, picture it as your own corner of the internet where you get to showcase your offers. You’re giving your dream clients a peek into your world and what you're all about. Here, they can dive into the nitty-gritty details, from what you offer to how it can benefit them. We're talking service descriptions, pricing info, glowing testimonials, and ways to reach out.

It's all about drawing people in, catching their interest, and getting them excited to take action. Just like an eye-catching storefront in real life, your service page is there to grab attention and make things happen.

And you need it because, in today's digital age, your online presence is everything. Having a killer service page is the difference between signing clients and just having a beautiful page with no actual booked clients to show for it. A strategic service page is how you stand out, attract customers, and ultimately grow your business.

Create a service page that STANDS OUT

Alright, so you've got your virtual storefront all set up, but how do you make sure it stands out in the crowded digital space?

Here's insider scoop: crafting a service page that turns heads isn't just about listing your offerings—it's about storytelling.

Start by painting a vivid picture of what sets your service apart and how it directly benefits your audience. Share the journey, the transformation your clients can expect, and focus on the "what's in it for them" factor. Break it down, keep it clear and concise, and sprinkle in some personality—after all, your brand is what makes you unique.

Next - it's not just about WHAT you offer, but HOW you offer it. Utilise eye-catching visuals, punchy headlines, and engaging copy that speaks directly to your audience's needs and desires.

And hey, don't forget the call to action—make it crystal clear what you want your visitors to do next. Whether it's booking a consultation, making a purchase, or signing up for your newsletter, sprinkle them through your service page.

How to write content for your service page (without sounding boring)

Alright, let's dive into crafting your service page content—it's all about finding that sweet spot between informative and downright captivating.

First things first, lay out exactly what your service is all about and how it swoops in to save the day for your audience. Use language that really hits home. How? Speak to their deepest needs and desires.

Forget the boring feature list—focus on the juicy benefits your service brings to the table.

Instead of drowning your audience in a sea of technical details, get clear on the perks your service brings to the table. For instance, rather than just simply stating that your coaching program includes weekly calls, emphasise the profound transformations clients experience through personalised guidance and support.

See the difference? It's all about showcasing the real-world benefits—like time saved, stress eased, and goals achieved—that make your service a total game-changer for your clients.

And lastly - show them, don't just tell them! Bring in real-life examples or stories to paint a vivid picture of what you're offering. Share a client success story illustrating how your service transformed their business, or describe a scenario where your service solved a common problem for someone just like them. These real-life examples add credibility and resonance to your message, making it even more compelling.

How many service pages do I actually need?

Curious about whether or not you should have one service page vs. multiple?

Well, it all comes down to the kind of offers you have in your business.

My general recommendation is to have a separate service page for each distinct service you offer. But, in some cases, it can make sense to keep all your offers in one single service page. This is especially true when the services you offer can be described as packages within an umbrella service.

For example, if you’re a brand designer and you offer 3 different brand identity packages, it makes sense to have a single service page for all of them. Especially since your dream client’s needs and desires are likely to be the same.

On the other hand, if you offer project management as a service as well as 1-1 consulting, these should be on different service pages because the dream client for each offer is likely different or at least at a different stage of their business.

Remember, the most important thing is not to overwhelm and confuse potential customers. So simply ask yourself… is my dream client avatar the same for all my offers or is it slightly (or very) different? If it’s different, you’ll likely need separate service pages.
